Spring has
sprung in the Midwest!
The temperature
has already reached the upper seventies, the daffodils
are blooming, and we’ll be mowing the lawn before long.
I’ve been busy
the last several months judging writing contests.
I judged a published writer’s contest sponsored
by Romance Writers of America and two contests for
non-published writers.
While it takes me away from my own writing, I
know the importance of contests, especially to not-yet
published writers.
Prior to selling my first book, I entered lots of
writing contests and used the feedback to improve my
writing.
It’s a pleasure to be able to help someone else do the
same now.
However, it’s
good to have that behind me because my garden beckons.
I can’t wait to get a little dirt under my nails!
Take care.
Plant something that makes you smile.
